Date: 11-Mar-15
Venue: Rising Sun Hotel, South Melbourne
Hares: Kokup and LuBangOz
To the musical sounds of Ferraris racing around Albert Park, the sergeant pointed out that in 1984 Lakeside had 2 male GMs and now we have one female GM. In 1984 Footloose as single of the year, Perfect Match was on TV, we got the $1 coin and Medicare, and Sweaty Box and Kevin weren’t born in 1984.
Crabbo described the run – We ran past Albert Lake, we heard it and felt it, but we couldn’t see it thanks to the Grand Prix fencing and screening. We went over the Kings Way footbridge, down some South Yarra alleyways, through Fawkner Park running along those pathways shaped like the Union Jack, then Crabbo took a short cut to have a piss.
Chillipad described the walk which was more a chat than a walk, the GM short cutted, there were lovely parks and it was awarded 645/650.
