Ah, gentle reader, having had an ‘Astroroid’ delivered during this week’s convivial post-run dinner and drinks, we scribes now realise that the country is really in election mode and truth has become a victim of the great Hash public relations machine… And since, dear reader, some troops are have a teeny weeny difficulty with reading too much writing, this hash trash will attempt to reflect a new succinct and improving tone of all great hash communications.
Cooch – great fabulous loopy run through central Richmond set by a semi-live hare, kept pack together, a magnificent drink stop with another attentive barman and views of the waterside SBD as RA – great weather, great shiggy, free washing liquid falling from the sky E&B – plenty of great hot rendang with vege and rice
Charges – too many umbrellas and raincoats – GG (the double condom man), Punch, Mothball and TigerMoth (with her Brazilian umbrella – missing a bit); look-alikes MB/TM and E&B/Cooch; Cooch – for a Clayton’s tool collection; Tickler – for having not turned up during the whole football season after paying to be in the tipping; and Punch – for missing Kokup.
Other charges for Chiko and Whippet will not be included here because they might reflect badly on our personal body habits during runs… we will have to save the more fruity aspects of hashing for the post-election period.
Namings (finally – but in the spirit of all things positive – absolutely beautiful choices by the RA and a lovely deflection from the dereliction of duty/precipitation issue):

Brenda, fudging her way through the evening and following her ‘colourful’ costume at Boomer’s party – SnowBitch.
Christenings took place, down downs were duly poured and drunk to mark the occasion, admirably captured by our HashFlash. Good to see the new SnowBitch down down in red wine with style – a select medium bodied merlot, exquisitely packed in fine plantation fibre with synthetic overtones… the tone of the hash is going up.
I must build a garage for my next run and hire these caterers…
