Run 1098, 15 June 2005Lakeside HHH AGMHare: Klingon Venue: The Rising Sun Hotel, Cnr Raglan & Eastern Roads, South Melbourne   What a great night to celebrate a year achievement in Lakeside Hash Harriers!Shah, Lucina and Shaggy welcomed visitors from clubs all across Melbourne including Melbourne Hash, Western Suburbs, Melbourne Ladies and Doncaster & Eltham. We got 66 runners by 7:30 when whole pack left the Rising Sun Hotel for Albert Park Lake. After a on back at the lake we passed Bob Jane Stadium, crossed the rail line and went back and forward in Middle Park streets till finally we got together in a play ground for a strong drink. Our front runners, Cooch, Prince and Whippet compete with D&E sprinters and found the checks one after each other. The run scored 1/10. After the run we finally got the handouts including the Yearbook which B&B described it as the best yearbook she has seen for long time. Thanks’ Gerbils for putting together such a comprehensive document together! The food was good and well served except for Pointy whose burger had been pinched. He got a burger at last.Gerbils and Mummies Boy were MCs for the night, dressed up in suits. They called for visiting GMs first including B&B, Irish, Jocket and Shingles. Ex-lakeside hash GMs were asked to the front next including Boomerang, B&B, Udder, Gerbils and Mummies Boy themselves.Klingon received the solo charge of the night for his crappie run.
