Run 1115, 12 Oct 2005 Hare: Plunger & Quasimodo Venue: 121 Plenty Rd, Preston
Runners got together in Preston where we hadn’t run in last year and so. The venue, Plunger’s workshop and the joint hares set the high milestone. Plunger gave few presentations before the run about the valuable heritage machines in his workshop including a steam tractor which apparently only 3 of it exist in the world.
Tickler described the run as nice and lovely at the beginning with plenty of check points before we climbed the hump where Tickler used to play as a kid. Fun Size from Alice Spring visited us again in her way to America for holiday and Whippet returned from his trip to Canada. Right Hand Man and Michiyo came back for their third run and all runners got a world class food at the end of the run consisting Lasaniya and apple desert.
Recent Balls Up which appeared to be really good had Tiger Moth and Mothball with the best dress. Lotsafun browsed the Lakeside website for the first time and had plenty of questions from the webmaster. Janus proved his running skills by running Melbourne Marathon in four and half hours. Mummies’ Boy took over the circle from Klingon and charged Plunger for his museum of tractors and cars in his workshop. Mummies’ Boy acknowledged that though GG walks, GG is always ahead of Mummies’ Boy in the run. Tiger Moth couldn’t give up her high boots that she wore in Balls Up and wore them again in the run coming from her French final exam. There were little confusion in the hair, Plunger, spelling and Moth Ball pointed how Lotsafun got confused in the train crossing. Quasimodo served 10 years old Shiraz in the drink stop which made GG crazy and Stuckon was absent in the run attending a book launch. Quasimodo charged Prince for what I didn’t get and Michiyo got a low profile down-down. At the end of the circle, Prince drank in his new shoe while it was leaking like a sieve.
