Run 1237, 05 December 2007 Hare: Mothball & Tiger Moth Venue: 3/4 Annetta Avenue, Ashburton.

Carribean Run combined with Mothball’s 60th birthday Run

LSH gathered at the Moths brand new Ashburton house. It was a green and pleasant run along Gardiners Creek, along bike paths, and across the Malvern Valley Golf Course. It’s pretty damn thrilling to be running over the number 3 fairway with cranky golfers waiting to tee off and not knowing if they value human life.

Mothy set walkers and runners trails which coagulated on the old Alamein rail trail with a Carribean rum punch drink stop. Rolf really, really enjoyed the drink stop. Her jolliness may have been a survival reaction to not dying by golf ball, or it may have been the rum. Moth was awarded 31/60 for the run cos it was well marked with lots of checks, just the right distance and green and picturesque. Tiger was awarded 29 for the food giving them a perfect 60. The impression of perfection was blown by the gun runners, Cooch and Flem, complaining about getting lost and separated from the quality part of the pack.

Now that Mothy is 60 he can take all his super tax free and give the finger to the tax office forever. He is now the oldest person he knows apart from GG. Being 60 is really working for Moth cos he gave an excellent impression of a cranky old fart. Max got smacked for being on the outdoor table, Flem got spanked for playing with the tan bark and E&B got whacked for blocking Mothy’s bike with her bike. At least he didn’t grizzle about the run.

Like BB’s and HIF’s cat Axel, Max Cuzcuz is a cat who isn’t nearly tall enough for his weight. Axel looks chubby cos she has big bones whereas Max has big fur, really big wide fur.

We had a Brazillian dinner and Moth blew out candles on his choc mud cake which we all helped him demolish.

Significant runs Pointy x 599 Klingon x 454 Cooch x 303

Charges  * Craven and Joel for not coming together. * Cheesecake for organising a coup d’etat to oust Prince and reinstate me cos I had the runs running on time. Am searching Trading Post for a Leopard Tank to drive across Poland and onto Prince’s house. Already control Hash communication channel. * Lube Oil for destroying native vegetation * Klingon for saying that no Member of Parliament would be also be a member of Hash because they would want to protect their reputation. (This from a man who posted a photo of himself wearing a red dress on his Secular Party Senate web profile). * NickleBy for not doing his job as deputy checking chicken and not marking the checks. * Prince for introducing the ex LSH GM as a visitor and calling her Skippy. * E&B for blocking Mothball’s bike. * Mothball for being economical with the chalk. * Mothball for finding it hard to bend down on a bike. (He’s 60) * Rolf for gobbling like a  (pre) Christmas turkey. * It Wasn’t Me on a wardrobe charge for wearing stripes with checks with spots with diagonals with verticals with horizontals, plus colour clashes. * TigerMoth for delivering lots and lots of delicious Brazilian ethnic muck for both carnivores and vegetarians plus chocolate mud cake. * NickleBy said that Cooch doesn’t have much stamina and can only go so far and no further, so Cooch charged with not being able to go all the way and NickleBy for knowing that Cooch can’t go all the way. * E&B charged Craven, the champion young fast marathon runner, for being charitable/kind/altruistic and dawdling at the back of the pack to keep E&B company. Craven is studying “Helping Little Old Ladies Across The Road 101” at Melb Uni and Wed night with E&B was her last prac for the year.
