Run 1302, 14 Jan 2009 Hare: Two Bottoms. Venue: 19 Explorers Court Vermont South

There we were in Explorers Court AUSTRALIA surrounded by Stockmans Drive, Muster Court, Overland Drive and Shearers Court. You could feel the barely restrained sexual tension simmering between the rippling, muscular Huge 2 Bottoms Jackman and a panting, palpitating Nicole Libido Kidman. We threw a bucket of water on them and they got on with the run and cooking our dinner. In the pre run circle,  the silver screen atmosphere of the rugged, outback, individual against the vast red expanse of central Vermont was provided by one of the cattle dogs AKA the only cattle dog, who mosied over to the front paddock of the neighbours’ ranch and did a Brad Pitt. (Did you know that he has a kiddy called Shiloh Pitt which, if you transpose the first 2 letters, becomes Piloh&..) A nice, juicy coffee brown one – looked just like a dairy queen icecream. Now think about this – after we left, either Huge or Nicole had to go out there, place a plastic bag over the still warm squishy brown ice cream, clasp their hand around it, gag, invert the bag without touching contents and then chuck in bin. Then gag again when wheeling out bin cos it was rubbish night. Anal neighbour on south ranch already had his bins out in neat row pre 6.30.

Cooch gave the run 11/13 because 2 botts lied about it being 6km, because it was unpredictable, cos there were too many checks, cos there were hardly any arrows and we had to run past the tip. Those frontierspersons of hardy pioneering stock, Cooch, Prince… did the whole run. Those who’ve evolved with a strategic hash brain – ChCake, Nick, Udder just followed Sooty who had a map and was freely putting it about.  Unlike Lotsa who never puts it about. “I’ll only open it if we get really, really, REALLY lost out mustering AND we’re at least 3 days from water AND one of us gets bitten by a Death Adder AND GG’s the only volunteer to suck out the poison” she sez.

Great dinner followed by Libido’s extremely excellent plum strudel.  The panting, pulsating pair are building a new house. Hopefully it’s in the better part of Vermont like Chablis Cres, or Barossa Av. or even Hunter Valley Rd which is over the back fence from the Vermont Winery.
