Run 1307, 11 Feb 2009 Hare: Udder Idjit & Gargoyle Venue: Brighton Beach Gardens.
The run started with an on-back on busy Beach Road, so everyone crossed the busy road to check, and as we were cursing the hare he called us back to the beach. Along the beach, and then across the busy road. Round the back streets of Brighton, across the railway line, lots of on-backs, through small parks. Down to South Road, where we bumped into Sudsy, but he wasn’t on trail, only retrieving his car from Brighton Beach Station (no trains running on Sandringhm line). Down to the beach and on home, with a dip in the sea for some runners. Scored as 20/23. Returnees:_ Modnoc – escaping the crocodiles in the main street of Cairns. Cyclone Lethal – who had disappeared by now – stand-in GG. Sooty – back from New Zealand. Special runs:- LubangOz – 66 Chico – 270. Sergeant for the day – CheeseCake. Charges:- Flem and IWM – suitably dressed for Brighton. Wet t-shirts – HolyShit and E&B – only nobody had noticed E&B was wet. Gargoyle – wearing Kylie Mole t-shirt -“she goes, she goes, she just goes” How old was this? Sooty and CodPiece – customs breaches – importing paua, exporting apples. TigerMoth – laughing at GG’s joke. – Dont encourage her – she doesnt stop. CheeseCake – plying her trade at Melbourne Hash last Monday night. Sooty and OldBoar – leaving lights on in New Zealand. Flem (as Sudsy stand-in) – “there are more girls at the volleyball on Wednesday night”. Udder – running trail through girls football training – we like this. Modnoc – not bringing some water from Cairns.
