What were we thinking? A riverside run in mid winter. Raining. Cold. Trail partly washed away. ———- But we were having fun. Must have. Only reason for 18 people to turn out to a run set by GG, with its usual 50 on-backs. Other than having some busy roads and visiting the Toorak shops I cant remember much except for the rain. Didnt even rate a score, but the food got 6+1/2 .”Not hot enough”. Dont know whether this was for the curry or the weather. Returnees:- ShitOffaShovel, Mothball PointPost Udder. Special run:- Mothball – 399+1/2 Charges:- Udder – living off Gargoyles income ( she sold a picture at the local art show) Klingon – having a raincoat, but sending Chico out without one. E&B – usurping Klingon as stand-in GM ShitOffaShovel – couldnt find on-backs. Flem – “Accountancy is boring” Yes we know it is, But the Sergeant is an accountant. Mothball, Udder & Old Boar – their countries got through to the 20/20 finals. Pity about AUS. ItWasntMe and Cyclone – Eskys are not seats – Cyclone was protesting about lack of DietCoke. Mothball – Not moaning about the weather – He was too cold to speak. Lubang Oz – Kicking Chico. GG – Laying trail from a toilet – (ex-toilet). Flem – getting 8 in footy tipping. LotsaFun – Birthday – 50 E&B – “Hood wearing” – Looks like a character from grade 5 book – A Hobyah – **** Sooty – Has “Peace of Mind” written on his truck – He always gives it.
