Run 1432, 27 Apr 2011 Hare: Lubang Oz 18 Grove Rd, Hawthorn
The run set off on a cool but balmy night, humid enought to work up a sweat. The run had many canny loops under bridges up over the top, down to the river on the other side then back up and round again at the next bridge. It was scored at 40 out of 30 by E&B. The pack agreed. It does seem that several decdes of hashing can be an adventage in knowing how to set a good run.
The food was a sumptuous feast of beef rendang and stewed goat. It turned out to be LubeOil’s birthday. There was a huge cream sponge cake. Must have been a special birthday. Which one? We were too polite to ask.
E& B and Cooch were returnees. Chrome Dome and Wooping Boy were failed crash test drivers. Point Post was a departee. He was off to visit IGT2 in Damascus. Must be a fun place to be.
The GM was aslo departing. She is off to Germany for a couple of months. A long Lakeside tradition of absent GMs.
