Run 1522, 7 November 2012 Hare: Monkey Boy Venue: Royal Hotel, Clifton Hill
A run around Clifton Hill: through alleyways, across rivers, around and around and around mandalas, and a good time was had by all. Food eaten and it all looked good, but for the steak sandwich. Pasta, corn beef were all great and a fantastic selection of beers. We need more runs and pubs like this, or just come back here. For the scribe, noting that he holds the title “this was run of the year so far”. Gm called the circle and asked for respect. Disappointingly no one questioned why and gave respect. What a soft hash. Gm: called for returnees. More than half the circle stood forth and the scribe could see an iq amongst them. Then tricky couldn’t name them but didn’t get a down-down. Hare called up and Ben gave a run report. His second hash. Ben got lost, got his feet wet (but wouldn’t tell us her name), talked about tourist opportunities and views and children’s slides (the police are now investigating the hare’s teaching credentials). 47/71. Song: “and the hairs and the hairs and the hairs on her ….” Sargent called forth: Then the most insignificant runs ever called forth: Cooch for bringing a disappearee, flem and Nickle bee … Then (some how) we found runners with even more insignificant runs. Hare called again for setting up a run that put GG together w. a good looking walker man. Then a good looking man, soas was called forth for calling out to GG (probably in jealousy of gg picking up). Charges for flem, Nickle bee, Klingon, Ben. Joke of the night stopped by Cooch … Thank goodness, but then he charged the hard w. confusion b/c his short cutting tendencies were thwarted. Flem charged w. using Cooch’s real name. Prosperous Chicken charge w not being prosperous. Some how the scribed was charged and some points were missed. Notices: City to Surf – Lakeside has a team and you can borrow soas’s shirt; there’s a hash run and there’s a BBQ. Next weeks run bbq’s from the middle of Flagstaff Gardens (site of GG’s 400th run in 1795 or something) Song
