Run 1076, 26 Jan 2005 Hare: Klingon Venue: Koomba Park, Wantirna.
Lake Side and Melbourne Hash got together for a joint run in an extremely hot day. Klingon set the run through Koomba Park and the bush, reminding everybody the Full Moon Run and runners were cooled down by bear and ginger bear in the drink stop. Visitors brought a giant 9 year old German Shepard which had a minor fight with our proud Chiko. Shagdelic and Underfelt came back from their adventurous trip to Chile and Pregnant Pouse brought her new puppy to the run.
Charges from the GM: GG, Gonxo and Tickler were unusually dressed. Prince (111), Pregnant Pause (11) and The Shah (25) had significant runs. Bob Choy was sitting during the circle and Topi for organizing competitive drink. Deeper used the three-wheel to bring his son to the run. Shaggy passed GM and didn’t give him a lift.
GM and Bob Choy discussed the late run and charges interrupted temporarily.
More charges:
Klingon for rising Alice in Australian way. Highly Infection couldn’t find the light beers. Klingon couldn’t give an accurate address to Deeper who came late and Pregnant Pouse gave a wrong address to the runners during the run. At the end the GM got a big glass of beer and drank it like a true Lake Side hasher.
Announcements: 19 FEBRUARY (Saturday) 10th Annual Red Dress Run. Special extravaganza for 10th anniversary, music, dancing til late. Oxford Scholar Hotel, Cnr Swanston and A’Beckett Sts, CBD. 4pm for 5 pm Run. Dinner, costume awards ,music and party. PLAN IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR RED CROSS, TSUNAMI RELIEF FUND.
