Run 1109, 31 Aug 2005 Hare: Udder Idjit Venue: Unit 7, 350 Beaconsfield Parade St Kilda
In a cold and windy night, a pack of twenty runners got together in Udder’s apartment in St Kilda. Runners struggling to find a car park came late and started a run which was found quite difficult to follow. Rain to blame, pack left the apartment toward Fitzroy Street. Pointy was the first casualty and was lost till ultimately walkers saved him in the Grey Street. The pack finally head toward the Luna Park and back toward home. The highlight was St Kilda’s Botanical Garden and St Kilda beach. Toto, Steward, Quasimodo returned and Klingon ran his 350’th run.
After a close Footi tipping competition Mommies Boy came on the top following GG and Janus. Klingon, the tipping organizer, rewarded E&B for her effort to come last. Clitus took over the circle and started with Mummies Boy for cutting GM’s speech. Stuckon smashed a fence post during the run and Pointy was wearing a pair of gloves, one black one yellow. GG was complaining about the umpires in run 21 and Quasimodo was reminded how to get down with a Kiwi. Clitus was annoyed when Plunger talked about tooth braces and Shah gave his phone number to Plunger so early. Cheesecake checked her first check after seven years of running and Lethal brought back a strange hair cut from Italy. Klingon managed the Footi tipping without winning it British-Welsh got a down down for their performance in The Ashes.
In a special ceremony, Yolanda was named as Screw Top.
