Run 1110, 7 Sept 2005 Hare: The Boomerang Venue: 4/39 Horne St, Elsternwick
A full pack of returnees, frequent runners and virgin runners got together in ex-GM house to find out that the run will be a live run. We extended our introductions told our stories for 15 minutes till Boomerang got some time to set the run ahead of us. We ran through nice properties in Elsternwick and Glen Eira including the short cut through the Coles Sipermarket which was the highlight of the run.
Tickler returned from Kazakhstan, working on Kazakhstan Airline which luckily has western airplanes in service rather than flying buses like Topolof and Ilyooshin. Also Mothball and Tiger Moth returned after four weeks in hot and humid West Indies. And SBD had busy times and couldn’t run with us.Right Hand Man (Mother Hash Slovakia) and Michiyo were our virgin runners and I met Little Job who was an ex-Lakeside who didn’t run with us for a while.
Screw Top had her photo taken in a formal ceremony and Cooch took E&B’s prize for finishing last in the Footi competition. Clitus pointed the legal support service provided by Little Job and charged Cooch and Quasimodo for being busy ahead of the run and not calling. Pregnant Pause and Mr. Bean were wearing Mexican hats and were amigos of the night. Shah (49) and Quasimodo (69) had special runs and Lotsafun were dancing after she had the Margarita’s special drink in the drink stop. Snowbitch had some girly discussion about the Margarita and Lizard was charged for sitting during the run. Mothball and Tigermoth were charged for a reason that I didn’t get and Klingon was charged for advocating the bike hash e-mails. Prince who specially hadn’t left that circle, got a down down for leaving his torch on the drink stop table and Mummies Boy teased GG to support Collingwood.
