Run 1111, 14 Sept 2005 Hare: GG Venue: Malvern Vale Hotel, Malvern Rd, Malvern
In a windy and rainy night 20 runners got together in a liberal suburb of Malvern. Malvern Vale Hotel where the run started was at a crowded road. But the pub itself had really good deals for food and nice spot for wet runners to sneak in. I like to record this pub as one of the best venues of the year specially with it’s $8 fish and chips plate who resembled fresh shark plates.
GG renewed the run in the last minute and though rain started as we left the venue, we could easily find the track all the way long. The run had lots of on backs to take us against all Liberal Party politician properties. It was short and risky as we crossed the busy Toorak Road twice. Hot and Delicious gave it 11.5 from 11.
Bloodhound ultimately found a run close to his home to run with us and Hot and Delicious was in another business trip. Little Job seems to started another two years continues run before she disappears again and Deep Throat was back before moving to Brisbane for a change. Clitus (66), Chicko (141), Janus (169) and Shah (50) had significant runs. Klingon passed the gossips about the changes in Commonwealth committee run which seems has been hijacked by a D&E runner. Stuckon broke and fixed the TV’s cabinet door and Sooty was wearing a Bridget Tool hat!? Tiger Moth’s flashing torch killed Clitus’ eyes during the run and Deep Throat told her stories of the real states in Brisbane while Plunger was solicitating about the property market there. Mummies’ Boy was relieved by telling his story of sending an e-mail incidentally to Little Job about the missing jumper. Klingon spotted Plunger and Little Job as they were chatting seriously last week Point Post accused Prince who was still in the circle for his blindness despite his big torch and Gumboot pointed Hot and Delicious suitcases. Prince reminded that circle started late and few runners left before circle.
