Run 1116, 19 Oct 2005 Hare: Clitus Venue: Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar, 118 Pier St, Altona
Industrial, smoky and truck drivers! Tough the venue wasn’t far away from The Esplande, one of the most expensive roads in Melbourne, few runners couldn’t tolerate the smoky atmosphere of the pub and got shelter outside the back door.
The run was short. We went alongside Cherry Lake following the Western Suburbs arrows set last night. We checked out their checks and went up to Altona Harbour. The run finished just before the heavy rain starts. Matthew and Ryan were little hares helping their Clitus to set the run. NickleB gave the run 15 from 16 not to mention his coming run next week.
Point Post (501), Tickler (29) and Plunger (9) had significant runs. Clitus took the first charge for his short and unnoticed presence in last week run in Preston. Quasimodo, Checking Chicken of the night, missed few checks. GG was late as usual and finished his dinner late. Quasimodo, joint hare with Plunger last week, left the run without cleaning up the place. Tickler found Boner’s lost tennis ball and Plunger was accused of setting drink stop far away from home last week. Ganus couldn’t differentiate between the ship in the bay and sun set and Clitus reminded Stuckon and Boomerang dancing together in the Balls-up.
Like Clitus, E&B had a bad back. While Michiyo was sitting in the run, Cooch and E&B were charged of something about underwear which I didn’t get. Screw Top appeared that getting fitter and running more seriously. Right Hand Man got a low profile charge and Quasimodo reminded that Cooch and Snowbitch rode their bike last Sunday in the Around the Bay in a Day.
