Run 1114, 05 Oct 2005 Hare: Point Post Venue: 11 Muswell Hill, Glen Iris – The Annual Pointy Pizza Procession

6’th Point Post Pizza run that Klingon could remember was special occasion. At the beginning of the run hair warned us that D&E has set the run in the same area. After few check pints and on backs we reached to a check point in busy Burke Road. Hard Drive, our blind and careless visitor from Warnabool wasn’t familiar with the Pointy style of setting long runs and didn’t find the arrows beyond the green light. We spent about 20 minutes going up and down the Burke Road till finally found our way through the avenues in Glen Iris. Harry and his partner Doubted (!) were our virgin runners whom coped very well with the Pointy style of setting run. Father, Kakdu and Sue returned to their running club while Miss Piggy got a day off to run with us again and refresh our memories. The run scored 11/14. Mothball (250), Tickler (25) and Point Post (500) had significant runs while Udder continued protesting against ex-Gm by avoiding signing the book.

Klingon brought the new designed and printed Lakeside T-shirts to the run. New T-shirts in red and white had Lakeside logo in front and Lakeside song at the back. Clitus wasn’t happy with the new design and wanted the song to be printed on front, while Pointy was wearing a ridicules T-shirt marked for 2006 Bally Interhash. In the absence of Shaggy, Gumboot was appointed as the temporary Hash Haberdash till Christmas when she and Clitus will move to Adelaide.

While Clitus was putting his new shoe off to drink in it, few people told few funny jokes about clocks in the heaven who work as lie counter or in a case of George Bush as a fan. GG was accused of giving Sue, our new recruit, hard time by asking her to put off her gear. Gumboot, our new modeling star, appeared in the Williamstown Star paper, riding a fake horse to advertise for nurses’ ball. Out Paparazzi crew found Cooch and E&B kissing each other and Prince baby sitting Add On. Udder came back from a tour of Wales and UK and Mummies’ Boy showed his modeling style by wearing green socks.
