Run 1148, 10 May 2006 Hare: Prince Venue: Leinster Arms Hotel cnr Hotham and Gold Streets Collingwood

The run started very well with good on back and check points. But while our bodies were warming up, we lost the track in front of Clifton Hill train station. We tried and tried and checked all tunnels and streets unsuccessfully. We ended up getting some help from Screw Top’s map but we made an executive decision and sprinted home. The forensic hash squad suggested the sabotage by local hash enemies. Bovine Breeder brought back our German visitor from last year, Stephanie, who is aiming to study her Masters in Melbourne uni and we should see more of her if Bovine Breeder becomes less selective in the runs he attend.  Also Tar-Je was another returnee of the night, returning from the toilet!

Dangerous as always was talking during the circle and didn’t hear all the details of the Klingon speech to welcome returnees. Prince (169), Screw Top and Tar-Je had significant runs and NickleB was acting sergeant in arms.  NickleB couldn’t help himself to forget Collingwood dominance last week which took them to the top of the AFL table. Hence, he charged all Magpies supporters, GG, Bovine Breeder and Prince. It appeared that we recruited professional orienteering hashers, Dangerous and Screw Top, which use map to find their ways to the venue and during the run.  Klingon was again late for the run complaining about the traffic in the Punt Road and Tar-Je took over Mothball position for receiving his dinner by ordering a rabbit dinner. In other end of the table Bovine Breeder got a bib to manage to eat his seafood meal without messing his shirt.

GG finally brought up the secret behind wearing hat. GG who looked like Boner, shaved his head to raise money for Leukemia patients.
