Run 1163, 09 August 2006 Hare: Kokup Venue: Fiddler’s Irish Pub, 577 Little Collins St Melb

Such a stylish pub! I pictured myself in 18’th century in a castle which has steal dunnies doors.  The food was also cheap but its quality wasn’t up to the standard of few hashers. The run brought back Kokup, Rigby and Punch to the Lakeside. Also, Sooty was back after loosing 15 kilos dealing with the hospital foods.

Run started from the check point at the corner of Collins and Spencer streets. The pack found its way next to the newly opened Spencer Street Station to the Docklands, across the Yarra River and around Crown Casino. Whole pack then ran into the Botanical Gardens and St Kilda Street before second visit to the Crown Casino. We crossed the river at the newly refurbished rail bridge which Lotsa Fun believed has moving figures. We didn’t wait an hour to see the figures moving but majority of the pack were first timers on the foot bridge. We briefly visited the aquarium before sprinting home. By this time we lost almost three quarter of the pack including our front runners, Prince and Whippet, who were shortcuted half way through the run.

E&B and Barterbitch had a conference on Wednesday and fished a visitor called Craig who was only interested in drinking. Rigby, Kokup, Punch, Dangerous, Helen, Colours, Shah, Mothball, Tigermoth, Barterbitch and Craig were our visitors and Whippet (240), Sooty (116), Tigermoth (77) and Shah (90) had significant runs.

Meanwhile Whippet was so excited that overloaded the glasses with icy water and poured ice on the table. Barterbitch and E&B luckily didn’t drive to the pub. They had few at the conference which didn’t stop them to invite their guests to the run. Barterbitch meanwhile was still wearing her name tag before Kokup mispresenting us to the pub waiters in a sense that they provided 10 jugs of water for the thirsty runners after the run.

Helen, Group Sex, was seen to answer mobile during the run and Klingon used a KFC cup to spoon Chicko’s sheet. Udder in other hand took his time and was doing business with E&B and Barterbitch last Saturday. Whippet and Prince were our front runners who didn’t finish the run and Cheesecake referred to Goliath as woman wearing his motorbike helmet. Tar-Je was accused of using Dangerous for nothing and Cooch was praised for finding the trial by himself and bringing the remaining pack home. Kokup didn’t fulfill E&B’s interest of having wine in wine glasses by choosing a pub who served wine in cherry glasses and GG overloaded us with info and charged Whippet for something that neither Whippet understood nor us. Then Tangles charged GG and Sooty in three words to be turd and not well respectively. Screwtop and Lotsa Fun were witnessed trying to get a job in a bar in the King St prior to Cheesecake charging E&B for accusing Cooch not understand her nor love her. Craig was brought in at the beginning of the circle and offered us 12 twine packages of weekend away. E&B was appointed to investigate further the offer.
