Run 1174, 25 October 2006 Hare: Lethal Venue: Fairview Park Reserve, Hawthorn

As runners started to arrive they found out that there is a wedding next door with lots of Jews around. It was a cold night, hence Prince and Klingon checked the park to find all attendees to see whether we should call it off. (Did not. Ed.) As Shah and Tigermoth were chatting, GG arrived with his two girl friends, Dangerous and Twisted Sister. All was set for Lethal who just managed to set his run after the rain. Cheesecake was just describing how warm was UK and Ireland and which places she visited in her long journey when Lethal sent us to the tour of Richmond & Hawthorn. We started up Swan Street and back to where we started, a loop, then up Burwood Road and St James Park. We followed the walking track alongside Yarra and inspected good looking properties overlooking the Yarra. Finale was a straight run toward home, on time to taste chicken curry that Lethal made. Before the circle we lost Twisted Sister who felt cold and Dangerous who had bladder problem.

Pointy gave a report of the run starting with how check and chicken was, himself and how visited Swan St, Bridge Road and Victoria Parade avoiding crossing traffic. He gave the run 21 from 27. Circle was held in the freezing car park and Non Stop visited us to announce Melbourne AGM on November 13th.

Bigo, Rolf Harris, Cheesecake, Twisted Sister were returnees and Prince (190), GG (690), Mothball (292), Chicko (181), Shah (100) had significant runs. Mothball dual sergeant in arms and grog master, charged Lethal to set a run in the rain while Victoria faces drought.

Mothball and Tigermoth were spending their last night in Melbourne before taking their early flight to Thailand to attend Interhash and enjoy sunny and Humid Chang Mai.

It was too cold and we wrapped up the circle early.
