Run 1182, 13 December 2006 Hare: Gerbils & Whippet Venue: 36 Victoria St, Sandringham

Whippet weather forecast came up wrong for the clearing smoke and runners found it difficult to find their way to Sandringham where surprisingly we had Whippet as chef and Gerbils as hare. The talk of the night was Sooty’s condition in the hospital and Cheesecake encouraged all Lakesiders to send Christmas cards to Graham Lloyd c/- Knox Private Hospital 262 Mountain Highway Wantirna 3152

As we were greeted by Whippet, Gerbils came back from setting the run to send us on our way to plenty of shaggy, lots of good looking houses and few sand bunkers which Mothball couldn’t count them as Sand-ringham’s beach.

After few on backs, run splitted to two between slow runners plus walkers, 10 minutes behind Cooch and SBD who was rusty at the beginning due to his surprise presence after a long absence. Mothball meanwhile couldn’t cope with the pace like Mommies Boy and heard few whispers from a spy rider, Gerbils, to go straight down the road to the drink stop. The run scored 21/29 mainly because of its superb drink stop which GG loved.   Gibbo from Melbourne Peninsula and Tuggea family, Caitlyn, Mitch and Zoë added a kiddy family edge to the run not to forget IBM’s contribution. Zoë meanwhile was also our virgin runner who experienced her first Lakeside’s run aged 2. Cheesecake announced nine series including GG (698), Tigermoth (90), Mothball (291) and Chicko (189) whom Whippet poured the beer on his head for his charge.

Mothball took over the circle and charge IBM for his long absence in the soccer discussions. He was also upset for NickelB and Lotsa Fun missing his curry to attend an engineering society event. Cheesecake pointed the awful condition of Whippet and Gerbils’ garage in the nice suburb of Sandringham while Crabbo appeared to be Shah’s replacement while he is away. NickelB accused Shah to save his energy for his forthcoming wedding while GG was only representative of the days where ALP had the power in the parliament. During the circle, Gerbils was warming up her coil on top the candle preparing for her night activities. Tigermoth accused Tuggea for his bad parking and his car’s name plate in his name. Kathryn helped Whippet to butter the bread after it took a while for Klingon to understand the child proof gate in the middle of the run.
