Run 1218, 01 August 2007 Hare: Two Bottoms Venue: Flying Duck Hotel, Bendigo Street, Prahran

A smart hare would have reprised The Shah’s run of last month – why reinvent the trail? But Two Bottoms had to do his own thing, so we had a new trail from the same gay pub. He showed great trust in the accumulated 507 years of LSH pack hashing experience by giving the map to a responsible adult -LotsaFun.

The map came in handy on the corner of Punt and Commercial Rds. LotsaFun refused to pull out said map until she thought we had sufficient enjoyment from trawling every point of the check about 18 times in peak hour traffic. A career as a dominatrix awaits. We spent a lot of time in Fawkner Park as patrons of the Flying Duck are wont to do, but our Type A personality, Scrotweiller, took charge of the map and got us out of there.

Mothball and  Boxy were in denial about being SCBs. Mothball reckons he does strategic running, while Boxy has invented the “long, short cut”. (He’s from QLD).

When we got to Chapel St, Two Bottoms had posted a few helpful tour guides to tell us where the arrows were, so on-home was easy sailing.

Two Bottoms was awarded 29/39 for a great run, but he lost points for cheating with the tour guides.

Returnees Boxy, Whippet.

Significant runs Boxy, Two Bottoms, LuBangOz.

Charges ? Two Bottoms for sucking up. ? E&B for turning up late 3 weeks in a row. ? IWM for using her brains and engaging in superior hashing. ? Mothball for grizzling about the long run. ? Cheesecake for forgetting the book. ? Flem for pie dunking. (Preceded by a 10 minute conversational ramble on Pie-eating etiquette from Egg & Bacon Pie!!!!!!!!) ? Whippet for not being able to get the RA job right, which was a rebound on the chargor, NicklBy, seeing as how Whippet isn’t the RA. (Whippet is nothing Committee-wise, because he is supposed to be doing his Finance course on Wed nights, but he’s been skipping classes, and what happens – the ASX has its biggest fall in 6 years on Wed.) ? Boxy for reading lesbian magazines. ? Whippet for causing Japan to beat Aust in the soccer.

Announcements ? 25-26 August Melb Ladies 1600th at Marysville. ? 22-23 September – Bike Hash in Beechworth. ? Balls Up in October – it’s annoying when you’re selling something and you’re not taken seriously eg. Tug and Rockacelli from Royal Peninsula, flogging the Balls Up to Christmas-mulled-wine infested Lakesiders. They persevered – there’s a lay-by, Harvey Norman type payment plan so you can pay a bit weekly. There’s also a bus taking you between those hourly-rate motels in Sth Dandenong should you get really, really lucky on the night.
