Run 1241, 02 January 2008 Hares: Two Bottoms & Libido Venue: 19 Explorers Court, Vermont South

The run set off through the burbs of Vermont and then into the wilds of Bushy Park. Up to the lookout, a feature of several of Klingon’s past runs through the area. then into the tack down by the nearby Dandenog creek. The checks and on-backs kept the pack suitably confused and running together.

On the home stretch we encounted the walkers in the neighbourhood where all the street names are named after the characters of Camelot and the fable of King Arthur and his round table knights. Quite appropriate because that very day GG and Klingon had been out taking in the city’s culture with some other hashers viz Spamalot, which is a highly entertainnig lampoon based in the Camalot saga.

Food was a fine selection of snags an left over Xmas ham courtesy It Wasn’t Flem. In all, it was the best run of the year, and the worst. Point Post, running for the first timne in 6 moths scored it 27½ out of 35. Stand-in GM NickleB handed over to ex-GM Udder Idjit as Sergeant at Arms.

Charges -Two Bottoms for spelling of Onn Inn. -Flem for holding his run on Boxing day so his boss Cooch could not turn up. -Point Post went toNZ to avoid it. -E&B found Cooch so boring she read the Age from cover to cover on -Mothball, Point Post and Udder for qualifying for a Seniors Card.

Some other charges but the scribe was too slack to record them.
