If you thought you were dreaming that you were doing Sooty and Tangles Run 1239 in reverse, then you WERE dreaming cos we only did about 95% of run 1239. So if you want to know what happened, please read my 19/12 report left to right from bottom of the page.

The extra bits were very nice – lots of greenery, lots of creek and river bank and lots of wildlife – bats bunkered down for bedtime on bank behind Thomas Embling psychiatric hospital. Bit of shiggy which separated the main pack from IWM, Codpiece and Cheesecake. We made the mistake of mentioning to Lotsa, just when she was deep in shiggy, that there might be snakes around. Lotsa took off like Cathy Freeman on amphetamines. We 3 wandered alone, abandoned and desperately afraid of being taken by a Yarra carnivore. We decided it could have young Snot being the most succulent. Lotsa did a good job of checking so we all got back for the drink stop.

Cooch gave the run 41/70 – its his local running country, but LuBang found bits that even Cooch hadn’t seen before. His mistake was to have the on-in close to the on-out which enabled the weak and injured to pike.

LubeOIl did a good job with dinner and even had desert.

Visitor Too Easy from Singapore and E&B who used to be in Singapore.

Significant Runs LubeOil x 21, Codpiece x 30

Charges -Prince for engaging in the NZ habit of being a short cutting bastard. -LuBangOz for being the first in the food queue. -Codpiece for gallantly staying with the pregnant hasher while they both got left behind. -LuBangOz got a rebound for attempting to charge Lotsa for wimping. -Too Easy for changing into a pretty liitle dress and shoes after run, instead of remaining in smelly running gear like the rest of us. -Pointy for being a short cutting bastard. -Codpiece for scaring Lotsa with snake stories. -Lotsa for being rude about the slimy Merri Creek. -IWM for finding a house in Perth (for the temporary residing in during the InterHash). -Colours for low profile. -E&B for saying with IWM oin Perth rather than in an hotel (as in, E&B is as tight as a fish’s earhole).
