Run 1266, 14 May 2008 Hare: Sooty Venue: Victoria Hotel, Victoria St. Brunswick

After being welcomed to run one two sux sux, we set off from the pub only to find no trail. Just when we were wondering whether Sooty had fogotten about the arrows, they were found, going in the other direction from where we were pointed. It wasn’t the last false trail. There were many on the way to that long strech going south on the concrete banks of the Moonee Ponds Creek. Then having jumped the creek we found another on-back going north on the other bank. The trail went back over the creek and further south to the drink stop. The pack went home instead.  In his run report Udder claimed that jumping the canal was the highlight and scored the run 6 out of 66. Reports from the drink stop said that port, lemonade and lollies were provided.
