A small but select pack of only 13 runners assembled in Western Suburbs territory. Round the streets. Checks on busy junctions. One very confusing mark – two on-backs facing each other. Down to Ormond Park, where the pack was more confused as a ute had parked right on top of an on-back. But trail was found down to Moonee Ponds Creek where the drink stop was spotted on the far side at Holbrook Reserve. Most people managed to jump the creek, [WARNING – some of these concrete drains have a deep channel in the middle], Chico paddled through (it wasnt deep) and ItWasntMe got an assist across. On On following the creek and back into the streets and up hill to home. Scored as 16/20. Good food – Scotch Pissed got a free drink, for the pub making a mistake with her order (then gave away the best chips to ItWasntMe) Visitors:- Boner – from Western Suburbs (this is his home pub). Scotch Pissed Naked Engineer (James). Returnee:- Old Boar Charges:- E&B – forgot book Old Boar – no picture of hare for book Old Boar – “I’ve checked up there, nothing there” – wrong! Naked Engineer – cant get sauce out of sachet – had to ask girl. Scotch Pissed – going for bike ride tomorrow – Lilydale to Warburton and back. Sooty – jacking up a ute to put the on-back under it. ItWasntMe and Chico (Klingon) – paddling in creek. Klingon – being so close to Essendon and not running past Windy Hill Boner – changing his LSH3 tshirt for a WSH3 tshirt – removing the evidence. Point Post – being quiet. E&B – because!
