Run 1406, 17 Nov 2010 Hare: ChromeDome & Just Martin Venue: 7 Emo Rd East Malvern

Roughly 26 people turned up to the Holden and Ford Palace owned by Chrome Dome and Just Martin in sunny East Malvern. The weather was warm and the run was long. But the ginger beers were cold so the offset worked well.

The run meandered around East Malvern passing the East Malvern RSL through Darling Park, Darling Station named apparently after GG. We then ran through Hedgeley Dene Gardens that are memorable as they are not only picturesque, but that wedding photos were prohibited from being taken there. Hmmmf!

Meanwhile back at the ranch, the flavours of the day were Mexican. We started with this great dip and this was followed up with Tacos with loads of guacamole, tomatoes, rice and minced meat covered with a lovely spicy salsa. I had two helpings and there was still stuff left over. In fact there was so much food that Chrome Dome’s amazing homemade cheesecake was left half eaten. I had one small slice and I thought to myself that this is what heaven must be like. I would not be surprised if Just Martin (or is it Just a Martian?) married Chrome Dome just for her cheesecake. Unfortunately, our other Cheesecake was not there partake in the habit of cannibalism.

A circle was held with lots of hayfever abounding. The circle was boisterous and for some reason yours truly was selected for far too many charges.

The run and meal were rated highly so well done and thankyou again to Chrome Dome and Just Martin for a great night.
