Talking about multi-tasking , they used to say President Gerald Ford couldn’t eat gum and walk at the same time. Lakeside walkers must be old Gerald’s love children because turns out they can’t walk AND talk AND follow a trail. Quick Lay incorporated checks and on-backs into the walkers’ trail well knowing they’d get lost thereby indicating malevolent intent on Quick Lay’s part to rid Lakeside of walkers. Quick Lay once crashed shopping trolleys with a walker in Safeway and he’s harboured a grudge ever since.
Dumb Bastard and Boner must’ve been hibernating together – they’ve woken simultaneously and arrived back at Lakeside after bloody long absences. Dumb Bastard has clocked up 7 Lakeside runs in 28 years, he’s not sure if he likes us. He’s going to live in Mt Gambier so henceforth he’ll run with Western Suburbs H3. WSH3 is where Boner usually lives, not sure if we’re seeing the first of a flood of refugees from the West to the much classier LSH3.

Clever Punt – long run, it can’t have been Quick to Lay, but very well set, lots of laneways where we got lost. Award 76/104
Walk Report
Gargoyle – followed orange chalk and the special walkers checks and on-backs which took them down laneways where they also got lost, but Swingers and young Kevin found trail. Award 85/104.
