Run Report

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF VICTORIA

QUASIMODO Plaintiff

And

EGG AND BACON PIE (also known as the GM) First Defendant

And

TOTO Second Defendant

And

QUEEN BEA Third Defendant

And

THE BOOMERANG Fourth Defendant

The plaintiff hereby claims damages, amount of which to be assessed, from the first defendant and / or in the alternative, the second defendant, and / or the third defendant and / or the fourth defendant.

The damages are claimed due to injury and suffering incurred by the plaintiff, as a result of having to write two run reports in a period of two weeks. This has caused the plaintiff loss of sleep, stress, a need to consult a most horrible book called a dictionary, and worst of all, the need to re-live the events of the night of Wednesday 1 May 2002.

The case against the first defendant is that she subjected the plaintiff to this task.

The case against the second defendant is that she was meant to be the scribe but withdrew due to her high moral standards (something about typing and hospital systems).

The case against the third and fourth defendants is that they were the hosts of the evening and if they had not volunteered, then the plaintiff would not have had a run report to write up.

The plaintiff also claims damages from the third defendant for making her and others run and around the dark streets of Melbourne at night, with only chalk and toilet paper to help them along.

The plaintiff also claims damages from the fourth defendant for his cooking, which he used as an excuse to avoid running around the streets of Melbourne, meaning the plaintiff and others had to do more checking.

The plaintiff claims additional damages from the first defendant for making one Whippet be the horn for the night, thus further reducing the FRBs in number, which in turn forced the plaintiff and others to do even more checking. This in turn meant that the plaintiff and the rest of the pack could not indulge in their usual gossip on checks, but were subjected to more running, along roads, the beach and a park or two.

The plaintiff further claims that the “down down” torture treatment endured by the defendants is insufficient punishment for their crimes and consequently, further damages should be borne.

The plaintiff also claims damages for being subjected to witnessing the torture of others, the said torture having been inflicted for following offences plus others:

Queen Bea – hare, lending a torch that doesn’t work, for just being and for finding accommodation situated most approximate to a particular establishment

The Bommerang – his cooking

Father – wife abuse

Visitors – for being there

Downsizing – blue rinse hair

Tangles & Uncle Shunty – in league with each other to get hold of more beer – no name recollection and loads of bad behaviour

BaaBaara – good behaviour!

Deep Throat – crimes so heinous they cannot be recalled

The plaintiff will however agree to drop these claims for damages on condition that those present on the said Wednesday night, will also be present at:

Deep Throat’s abode on
