Your fearless scribe set off into the wilds of Frankston last Saturday afternoon to attend the Penninsula Ladies AGPU and 1000th run. The sky was black and threatening as we all donned our giveaway purple t’s and headed off through the wilds of Frankston. We aparently followed the previous two weeks trail so many of the pack already had a fair idea of the trail and the pace was pretty damn fast!!! A drink stop on the boardwalk, a run up the stairs and it was back for the festivities. Congrats to Duchess for last year and good luck to Blow Job for this coming year. (Any one interested in the on-after details will have to ask Pointy)
Last night’s Cap’n Bryce’s run was a lot closer to the LH3 home territory and so a much larger contingent of Lakesiders turned up to protect up their GM from the fearsome mob. Obviously the new committee didn’t pay enough to the kidnappers and Mummies Boy appeared on the scene again! Chico managed to out howl the D&E boys as we set off into the cold. A cleverly marked trail kept the pack together through the mansions of Kew and Hartwell. Grub was on when the pack returned and plenty of hot lasagne was eagerly munched by the Melbourne and Ballarat hashers. Mummies Boy received a charge from the assembled mass for his 200th run (perhaps it was he who bribed the kidnappers?)
