Run 1160, 19 July 2006 Hare: Bloodhound Venue: 46 Maling Road Canterbury

Where do we start the run from!? Wasn’t it close to the train station? Shah, Chris and Cheesecake were struggling to find Bloodhound’s house while they were preparing themselves for another Blood Hound marathon run. GG just arrived after Chris on his 250CC motorbike to check up his bike before everybody moved in. Twisted Sister just came back from holidaying in the Yank’s land, witnessed Snowbitch’s creativity in converting Lakeside’s plain T-shirt to a long sleeve red and sexy outfit. As we were warming up ourselves, we were introduced to co-hair, Jimmy who accompanied Bloodhound during the run but was too intelligent to reveal any secret of the run.

The run brought back lots of memories for Klingon who grew up in Canterbury and occasionally gave us few lectures of his childhood. These lectures had also practical components where we chased Klingon’s signature on the concrete footpath of the houses. Luckily these experiments ended without any casualties. Bloodhound looked like ran out of chocks in few streets and the arrows were well far apart. We were lost few times before the hair directed us back on the track. The pack learnt to expect a check on every busy intersection while admiring all upper class houses in Canterbury.

Back home, we got warm and healthy rice and chicken curry and inspected the Blood Hound’s giant plasma TV. The run scored 53 from 76 and Twisted Sister, Snowbitch, Screwtop, Seagull and Colours were our returnees. Chris (15), Screwtop (45), Twisted Sister (25), GG (677) and Chiko (169) had significant runs. It appeared that E&B and Cheesecake had long discussion during the run to find a suitable run for Chris. The options were “Came Off a few” and Gelayev. After a democratic voting Chris of Carnegie was named Gelayev by Screwtop who named him by the power of Queen.

NickleB, acting sergeant in arms, heard Egg and Beaver instead of E&B and Whippet misinterpreted Shah and NickleB dog talking to the runners’ conversation to their ex-GM, Klingon. Seagull, Snowbitch looked like, took charges for Snowbitch creativity in making a sexy Lakeside outfit while E&B called Mommies Boy’s car as depicted.  Mommies Boy then charged GG, Prince’s looked like, for Collingwood mid-season out coaching crises.

Seagull in return charged E&B, Snowbitch looked like, for choosing Seagull as her name which appeared to become a tool against her by Right Hand Man’s daughter. Klingon thought that Blood Hound deserve a down down for setting a mind refreshing run through classic Canterbury properties where he grew up. Cheesecake present at the beginning of the run witnessed another Chicko’s shitting on the Canterbury streets, revenging the houses that Pointy believed belong to the best Melbournian roots. Colours appeared that had few lousy hash trainings thinking that the trail should follow the lights.

There was a story in the Sun describing Cooch after he died in vegetation mood without a TV which E&B believed to be true recalling their broken TV.  Finally, Mommies Boy reminded the runners of the next run at Pint on Punt where he was named in 1996.
