Run 1167, 3 Sept 2006 Hare: Egg & Bacon Pie Venue: Fitzroy Gardens, East Melb.

Such an engineered run! The run was short but we ran every single track in Fitzroy Gardens. I suspect we followed a start shape format but we should have asked the run engineer, E&B. Run started from the dome structure on the top of the garden where you often see brides and grooms on the weekends. As always, E&B brought few conference colleagues to the run including Colin and Frank. Ian, Yogo Bear, E&B’s brother, also ran with us which increased my confidence that Fitzroy Garden is safe to run. Ian is a policeman. Klingon (400), Pointy (540), Whippet (242), Mommies Boy (277), Udder (400+) had significant runs. Run started from Fitzroy Gardens and followed by brief visit to Shah’s driveway, back to the gardens. We went to every corner of the garden and paid a tribute to the Treasury Garden and J F Kennedy memorial. The run was short but Udder called it pleasant.

It was the temptation run! Home was always in our sight and we always got close to it but never got home till the end. E&B, like last soup run, served so yummy soups which everybody was delighted to have in such a cold night outside. She provided lamb & ham soup and pumpkin soup.   GG came first n the footy tipping and Cheesecake last who charged for it while E&B was encouraging to stay away from the barbeque in the freezing night. Mommies Boy again nominated Cooch responsible for water shortage in Melbourne while Udder found that Frank, Trickles, is good in teaching computer to old ladies. GG reminded us that the run was set by tree co-hares, E&B, Cooch, and Yogo Bear. Goliath accused E&B of vandalism, witnessing the arrow on the Sofit Hotel wall. Mommies Boy pointed Cooch, co-hare, to divulging during the run after Prince, LHH’s trial master, talked to GG to find the venue, thinking that all soup runs are from Fawkner Park. Finally, Frank was wearing new shoes which was decided not to charged for due to the freezing winds. There were few e-mails and discussions to sell the LHH’s barbeque, but the decision put on hold for further thinking on the sale.
