Two virgin hares in 2 weeks! COdpiece sent us off through Southbank condominiums, across to gardens, along the Yarra and all the way around the Tan up the Anderson ST Hill with a few diversions past the uber trendy Botanical Hotel. When we were down at the Yarra, it looked like she had lost some of the best Lakeside hashers ever – Whippett, Cooch, Boxy, Prince, Mothy – but they eventually emerged from the Botanical gardens and rejoined rest of pack. Back across ST Kilda Rd, past Channel 7 and on-home for dinner.
Food was Australian Air Force ration packs from Korean War, from Melb Girls College cadets. 50 year old ration pack snags and burgers were delicious when tossed on Sturt St barbie and squashed in bread with choice of 3 sauces, preceded by mega amounts of hot soup. Not often hashers get luxury of 2 courses.

Lotsa Fun described the run and gave lots of positive, constructive feedback to virgin hare and awarded 13 out of 26 for run and 2 out of 2 for food. Mothball charged front running bastards for not calling ON or marking trail. GG for being heard to say “I’m not complaining” and then telling his GM to G** Fucked. Codpiece for dreaming about William McInnes from Seachange. Boomer for helping E&B move into her house 6 years ago. E&B for it being 30 years since she came OUT, also 30 years since she got drivers licence. Boxy for a) tipping over a full stubby of beer and b) tipping said stubby over hash book and drowning said book.
