Run 1225, 19 September 2007 Hare: GG Venue: Brookvale Gds, Fairbairn Rd Toorak,

GG chose one of his familiar haunts for the run – the perimeter of a primary school. Toorak Primary School no less, which has a better class of kiddie. Fairbairn Park has everything, a BBQ, big trees for shelter, a climbing tower and one of those toilets where you press buttons and get recorded instructions on how to do what you`ve been doing since you were 18 months old.

GG took us past some jolly nice real estate, along Orrong Rd and past Steve Vizard`s $18 million house. He had some extremely long, tricky on-backs and had us running up our own  fundaments in the vicinity of Montalto Ave. There was an on-back in Tintern Ave which provoked a long reminiscence from E&B about when she was a 14 year old marching band girl, banging about in Toorak.

Codpiece is off to Canada where she plans some hiking. Canadian mega brown bears are currently very active and eat 36,000 calories a day prior to hibernation. Codpiece is exactly 36,000 calories, so she`s scrubbed the hiking idea.

Flem provided constructive feedback to GG, who as always took it really well. He set a couple of the longest on-backs and gave plenty of opportunity for real estate perving. He was awarded 35 out of 38.

GG put on a scrummy BBQ with 5 rissoles and 12 sausages per hasher, plus salad matter for texture.
