19 is a prime number and 19 is the number of Lakeside Hashers that actually made it to the gay capital of Victoria. For the third Lakeside run under the tenure of Big Bang, we had a dry night sans precipitation. Well done to the RA – Klingon and also Cyclone Tracy for ensuring the good weather. Note that neither of them turned up.
The small group gathered in a function room that could easily housed another 100 hashers. Not to worry, we band of 19 made merry and ran all around Prahran going down back alleys, back doors and back passages in the true spirit of Prahran. The run was good, lasting an hour and we covered 7.44km according to my GPS watch. But I did a lot of checking so who knows or cares? The food was good and we had the public bar prices so my Chicken in Pyjamas was only $15.
Charges – Metatarsole scored the run 1 out of a possible 10. Pretty generous I thought. SOAS for the palindromic run of 44. Nor Me for doing 42 runs and he is only 1 year old. Returnees of XRated, Lick ‘N Stick, and Twisted Sister. The Checking Chickens were charged for not doing their jobs – Cooch, Bovine, XRated and Metatarsole. The Collingwood and St Kilda Supporters were charged. E&B for stuffing up the taking away song of Metatarsole. Three Stooges charge from Lots of Fun to Bovine, Cooch and Metatarsole. Lateness charge to SOAS for losing his bike lock on some bridge. XRated for not wearing her hash gear. Perverts charge to Lots of Fun for “accidentally” walking into the toilets whilst I was standing at the urinals with my hands full. On on, Bovine Breeder
