Run 1437, 25 May 2011 Hare: Prince Venue: Leinster Arms Gold St Colingwood
As we set off, the hare informed us that we would cross Hoddle St twice. This was quite helpful in breaking all the checks and on-backs, and hence we finished the run in less than an hour. It was a good run going up over the Eastern freeway bridge and back along the west bank of the Yarra, which was fairly raging despite not much rain in the last few days.
As we got back early, the stand-in GM E&B decided to hold the circle before the food, a fulfillment of her long held desire. After about 8 minutes, the food came out, so the circle was abandoned, but there was not much beer left anyway.
Amongst the usual charges, Klingon tried to make a charge on the grounds that since a policeman in Toronto suggested that if women did not want to be raped they should not dress like sluts. In response, women world wide have organsised Slutwalks, in order to defend their right to wear what they want without fear of being attacked. Klingon wanted to charge all the sluts in the hash who were going on a Slutwalk but none owned up so it was a rebound.
