Run 982 Report

LAKESIDE HASH HOUSE HARRIERS HASH TRASH

Run 982, 7 May 2003

Venue: Sooty’s Shack, Prahran

Hare: Sooty

It’s lonesome sometimes down in old Prahran So far away from home in New Zealand land, But there’s one thing that’ll make these Aussie’s talk That’s to go out and set a hash run with no chalk.

Now the GM is anxious for pack to get going That they’ll be lost for hours he has no way of knowing

For who would have guessed the hare’s having a lark He’s left Lakeside guessing on that trail with no mark.

Tripod’s still with us, and visitor Saddle Sore They wouldn’t have bothered if they knew what was in store

Wandering aimless, hash skills are to no avail They’ve shown up for a Lakeside hash run with no trail

Boomer and GG realise there’s no use in trying

So it’s beers at the College Lawn and GG is buying

But somewhere there’s free drinks (if you can find the hare)

Only Rolf followed pink arrows backwards and ended up there.

The pack’s given up, there’s no trail to see They’re hungry and thirsty, and some have to pee The hare’s in the kitchen, he says “You’re early me dears,” They say “There’s no *$%^ing trail! Which way to the beers?”
